Rolling bottle incubators function similarly to CO2 incubators, with the difference being their larger size and the presence of rollers for rotating bottles containing cells.

These devices, suitable for cultivating various microorganisms, provide optimal culture conditions such as temperature, humidity, and carbon dioxide within the chamber of the apparatus. The target microorganisms are placed inside specific cylindrical bottles that rotate very slowly around the central axis of the bottle by the device’s rollers. Through this method, not only is parameter uniformity ensured inside the bottle, but also the opportunity for microorganisms to adhere to the inner wall of the bottle is created.
